In January 2007, I started writing weekly feature articles as part of my job. The idea was to become something of a roving reporter, to get me out and about, meeting new people, making contacts and hopefully getting a few more news stories this way.
I’d like to say it’s largely been a success. The only thing that hasn’t worked so far is people coming up with suggestions for me… Then again, I like thinking of things to write about and it keeps my mind busy.
Coming soon.. a selection of the ones I think worked best. To anyone looking at these pages and wondering “Where is the one she did about me/us?” my main selection criterion is purely how well I think I wrote about a topic, rather than what I thought about the topic itself. So if you don’t see yourself here, it’s not because I didn’t like you!
